Ahoy, Mate
For a semi-retired couple settling into life in downtown Poulsbo, this classic Craftsman home needed a thoughtful refresh that honored its character while introducing a coastal sensibility. As the lead designer, we infused the interiors with a nautical-inspired palette—creams, crisp whites, deep navy, and soft gold accents—to evoke an inviting, timeless coastal vibe.
We strategically reconfigured the layout, closing select openings to establish a more intuitive flow and create a true great room at the heart of the home. An underutilized pantry was transformed into a functional dining room buffet, adding both charm and practicality. Throughout the home, a new kitchen, updated bath, custom built-ins, and a reimagined fireplace bring warmth and cohesion, giving this Craftsman a cozy yet refreshed identity tailored perfectly to its owners’ next chapter.
